during a period in which things were seeking to change, and to grow, i had sat down with the guitar one night without any intention of recording a project. however, when i began playing, i found myself stumbling upon rhythms and sounds which felt special, i was able to connect some feelings i was having at the time to what i was playing. in recording for about 22 minutes, fixations came to fruition. complimented by some pictures i would take the same week during sunset on a day in late july at park in a small town in new jersey, i felt as if everything for this project had come to form in a matter that was perfect, yet all by coincidence, and my mind itself had developed a heavy focus on this week in particular, a fixation in and of itself.
