every song on this album was recorded during times of emotional intensity, whether it being the multiple hardships I face such as insomnia, anxiety, depression, or the many other stresses of human life, or psychedelic/drug use.

most songs on this album were recorded in one take, performed live using tape loops and in a few cases using a looping style recording technique to layer sounds. it is for this reason that the album is self titled, it represents my ability as a musician, and ultimately serves as a demonstration of my emotions at the times I recorded these different pieces. each song that uses a number encased in parenthesis represents a scrap piece, something that was recorded rather quickly when i was desperate to showcase how i was feeling at the time, the others are much more meditative, and structured pieces to really dig into my thoughts and emotions. in many ways, this album will forever have served as a coping mechanism for me.

this album also serves to bring my ego away from a selfish standpoint, to me, putting it into a piece of art for others to enjoy makes it a little more selfless, communicating things that are happening to me in this manner and seeing other people relate to them, or merely understand them, makes me feel more connected to the world around us.

i want to thank all of my friends who supported me, although not really understanding what ambient music is or what purpose it serves. and those who do for helping me develop better techniques, it is these different connections in our lives that make us better people.

i want to thank the many new friends i've made within the electronic community for enabling me to test out new ideas by showing me new things they were doing, my friends over on the kosen solar project, or those on the wet dreams exciter project.

i want to thank illuminated paths for their continued support/release of my music since my very first project, always IP!
